Spore has gone GOLD

It’s less than a month until Spore will be in your local game store, and we are happy to announce that Spore is now finally Gold. This means that the game is finished, and the development is closed. Of cource, there will be fixes and patches in the future, but the game as you will find it in the retail package is finished.
Spore will be released in Europe September 5. and in North Americe September 7. If you still haven’t decided if this is the game for you, I recommend checking out the Spore Creature Creator. I’m quite sure you will make up your mind after playing a bit with that.
